The other day I realised that I had been locked into progressing some work on my computer for several days, and whilst it was productive it was also a tad demoralising because it had been so lovely outside. The sun was shining and oh I so wanted to be out…

Waking up the next day I decided that irrespective of the weather I was going to go for a walk. Of course I was hoping for a gorgeous day but unfortunately, it was bouncing down with rain…

I stopped for a moment but then thought ahh beggar it, I’m not exactly going to melt, am I? I am so glad that I went out; this beautiful little Fantail followed me around and did a gorgeous dance for me that I would have missed if I hadn’t stepped outside.

I hasten to add my work productivity increased, I haven’t missed a beat since! So if it’s been a while for you, go on, get out now regardless of what the weather is doing, splash in a few puddles, watch the birds, let the sun kiss your skin…
